Embroidery

Sandra is an author, illustrator and embroiderer. She graduated from the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg and studied textiles at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. A needle, a thread and a lot of passion give birth to multicolored works of art that will give your sleeping rooms a boost.

GREGOIRE

Grégoire is passionate about the age-old craft of hand embroidery. When he took over the reins of the Safrane family workshop, he surrounded himself with a team of talented women embroiderers, designers and stylists who work with volume and 3D embroidery.

BRODEUSE

Embroidery is above all a childhood memory for Delphine, and is inextricably linked with the notion of passing on a skill. Also an illustrator, embroidery enables her to sublimate her drawings and turn them into unique, precious objects. Mainly inspired by nature and women, she likes to work with simple lines and linear patterns. Her technique demands patience and precision – it’s a true moment of contemplation.

Berenike is a visual artist working in the field of textiles and fibers. She uses a wide range of ancestral craft techniques such as embroidery, collage and painting. Her works are a meditation on spirituality.

AKIYO

Shashiko embroiderer

Akiyo is a textile artist. She began her apprenticeship with a grandmaster specializing in the traditional techniques of vegetable dyeing and silk kimono weaving. She then moves on to traditional weaving methods.

Iftikhar is passionate about fabrics and buttons. According to him, a button finishes an outfit with elegance and allows you to assert your own style with a touch of originality. Extending the life of a fabric is Iftikhar’s promise. He’ll transform your favorite fabrics (scarves or others) into unique covered buttons.

JEAN-LOUIS & WALAYAT

Jean-Louis and his associate Walayat share the same passion for ornamentation, and practice a skill that has become rare today: nail-making. Their workshop, a veritable Ali Baba’s cave, overflows with rivets, rhinestones and pearls of every size, shape and color. The possibilities and combinations are endless.

Passionate about design and sewing, Léa loves working with fabric above all else. In search of the finest fabrics, she wanders the aisles of Marché St Pierre for hours on end. This sensory experience is an essential part of her creative process.
This passion was passed on to her by her grandmother and then by her mother.

plumasserie

Plum-making is a rare craft whose origins go back to the Amerindians. Marion is one of the last forty feather workers in France. Her work is directly inspired by the mineral, animal and plant worlds. Exclusively for RAYONE, she has extended her know-how to the world of hats. Marion shares RAYONE’s philosophy of sublimating rather than buying a garment anew, while promoting French arts and crafts.

A lover of old books, Lucie was destined to restore them. But after studying art, architecture and design, she became an Artiste Doreuse. Lucie appreciates the freedom of expression this art gives her, while creating a bridge with craftsmanship. Her unique style is a blend of inspirations: Art Deco, Antiquity, Romanticism, Pointillism, Art Nouveau, Bauhaus and of course music….Lucie designs and hand-engraves her designs in genuine 22-carat gold or in color.

Sebastien is a passionate self-taught craftsman as you’ll rarely find. He discovered leather a little by chance, but trained in the craft with great rigor and finally opened his own workshop. With Rayone, Sebastien will help you pamper the finest leather and suede pieces in your wardrobe, preserving them for a lifetime.

An exceptional calligrapher, Alice loves letters and takes pleasure in sublimating them.
Exclusively for RAYONE, she has created lettering using specific techniques. Everything is hand-painted, mainly on leather.
With RAYONE, whose strong values she shares, Alice puts her expertise and meticulous work at your service to make your wardrobe more enchanting.

Léonie Yagdjoglou is a visual artist. For the past twelve years, she has devoted her practice to ceramic art, as it combines the two fundamental elements of her artistic means of expression, design and painting.

Avalon has several passions: illustration and graphic design. She likes to draw everyday scenes, abstract landscapes populated by enigmatic shapes and characters. Her inspiration comes from Japanese graphics, manga and street style. For RAYONE, Avalon offers a selection of exclusive designs and tailor-made illustrations, with the aim of contributing to more responsible fashion.

Marie makes colors dance and sing on your clothes. A specialist in theater sets, she designs and paints on all fabrics: velvet, silk, silk taffeta, ottoman, wool and cotton. She creates nuances of color to give light effects to each of her creations.

Florence

Florence’s passion for Batik entered her life 40 years ago when she crossed paths with an artist who was practicing this ancestral technique in her small Parisian apartment. Florence then began to travel back and forth to Indonesia, the cradle of Batik. It’s these journeys that have fuelled her inspiration and turned her passion into a profession.

AURÉLIA AND MATHILDE

Aurélia is the founder of a magnificent plant dyeing workshop in the heart of Paris. Together with Mathilde, they are the dyers at the heart of this magnificent workshop/garden, working in a highly complementary way. Both are committed to an eco-friendly textile industry, and do the same through RAYONE, breathing new life into strong wardrobe pieces with plant colors.

upcycling

Passionate about design and sewing, Lea loves working with fabric above all else. In this upcycling offer, Lea takes your favorite jeans and turns them into superb tote bags or toiletry bags lined with fabrics (exclusively fabric scraps) that she has sourced herself.
