Grégoire

Embroiderer

Grégoire, an embroidery enthusiast, perpetuates an ancestral savoir-faire in his Paris workshop: finely crafted hand embroidery. Founded by his mother in the late 80s, Grégoire’s family-run workshop caters to some of the biggest names in haute couture.

Grégoire has surrounded himself with a team of talented women embroiderers, designers and stylists who work with volume and 3D embroidery. The workshop is brimming with talent, and every day they carry out meticulous work that demands a great deal of patience. Two techniques are used: needlework and Lunéville crochet.

A multitude of materials are used: silk threads, cannetilles, ribbons, rhinestones, sequins or pearls. In the hundreds of boxes stacked along the walls of this magnificent workshop, over 5,000 samples are kept, each with a card indicating the materials used and the embroidery time required.
